The E2 cockpit supports the use of tablets as an Electronic Flight Bag, allowing for paperless operations, giving pilots real-time access to aircraft flight and performance data as well as critical charts and weather reports.

The Electronic Flight Bag is integrated with the E2’s connectivity architecture on the ground and in the air, including internet on-board. In an e-Enabled environment, data from the aircraft is continually analyzed to ensure the most efficient and economical flying.

A new standard in cabin efficiency

E2 cabin staff will have access to the touchscreen Cabin Management System, allowing them not only to control all operational aspects of the cabin, but also access the E2’s connectivity capability.

Downline provisioning for lavatory services can be ordered while in flight, unserviceable items can be flagged immediately. In an e-Enabled world a passenger seat fault in the morning no longer needs to be a lost revenue opportunity for the whole day.

The Cabin Management System will allow a more customized passenger experience and additional ancillary revenues, through more in-flight sales or other services.
